Wednesday evening at the Marriott Hotel (old Wyndham in Albrook Mall) The American Society of Panama (AMSOC) had its first M&M in a long time.
The primary purpose besides socializing with members and guests was for eligible AMSOC’s members to vote on whether changes to AMSOC’s By-Laws can or cannot be made; the voting took place through strict rules and the change to the “By-Laws” was approved by a vote of 27 in favor and 2 opposed.
For me it was great mingling with old friends and meeting new friends and very happy seeing our AMSOC’s past President Charlotte Pierce promoting and autographing her recent book “Grandma’s Prayer Room: 31-Day Prayer Devotional with A through Z Prayers to Shower Your Grandchildren with the word of God”.
According to my count there were approximately 75-100 guests enjoying this event and savoring the finger food prepared by Marriott’s staff.
